Contact your doctor immediately if your symptoms worsen or don’t improve after 72 hours of taking Amoxicillin/clavulanate. This includes increased fever, persistent or worsening pain, or new symptoms.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience a severe allergic reaction. Symptoms may include swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; difficulty breathing; hives; or a rapid heartbeat.
Call your doctor if you develop diarrhea that is watery or bloody, as this could indicate Clostridium difficile infection. Don’t use anti-diarrheal medication without consulting your physician first.
Contact your doctor if you notice any unusual bruising or bleeding. This might suggest a blood disorder.
Report any signs of liver problems to your healthcare provider immediately. These can include yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice), dark urine, or unusual fatigue.
If you experience severe abdominal pain, particularly accompanied by vomiting, contact your doctor right away.
