Take one Maxalt 10 mg tablet at the first sign of a migraine. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew or crush it.
When to Take Maxalt
Take Maxalt as soon as you feel a migraine starting. Delaying treatment may reduce its effectiveness. You can take Maxalt with or without food.
Dosage and Frequency
The recommended dose is one 10 mg tablet. Do not exceed one tablet in a 24-hour period. If your migraine doesn’t respond to the first dose, consult your doctor before taking another.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Never double up on doses.
Possible Side Effects

Storage
Store Maxalt at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children.
