Preparing for Application
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Gently tilt your head back. Pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket.
Applying the Drops
Hold the dropper above your eye, close to, but not touching, your eye. Squeeze one drop into the lower eyelid pocket. Close your eye gently. Apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of your eye (near your nose) for about 1-2 minutes. This helps prevent the medication from draining into your tear duct and system.
After Application
- Wait at least 5 minutes before applying any other eye drops. If you accidentally miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember, unless it’s nearly time for your next dose. Do not double the dose. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Store the eye drops as directed on the label, typically at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Important Considerations
If you experience any unexpected side effects, such as blurred vision, increased eye pressure, or infection, contact your doctor immediately. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor first.
