Always follow your doctor’s instructions. The standard starting dose is 10mg, taken as needed, at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. Your doctor may increase this to 20mg, or decrease it to 5mg, depending on your response and any side effects.
Common side effects include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and indigestion. These are usually mild and temporary. More serious, though rare, side effects include vision changes (blurred vision, sudden vision loss), hearing loss, prolonged erection (priapism), and chest pain. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these.

Do not take Cialis if you have heart problems, low blood pressure, or have had a recent stroke or heart attack. Avoid grapefruit juice, as it can interact with Cialis. Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements. Cialis can interact with nitrates. If you have questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Cialis.
